Nexus Student Services is a leader in the support services for foreign students in Australia.
We are currently seeking to expand our network of English (and other Language) coaches to help our students succeed in their studies.
Preferred candidates bring to the role more then just a background in teaching but rather an understanding of life as a student in a foreign land.
Our students come from all over the globe and many are seeking more then just an education but also a life experience. Nexus Student Services offers unique support services for our client group and have created a niche within the gay and lesbian communities around the world offering specialised counselling, career coaching and lifestyle support services for young people from repressed lgbt communities.
We expect our tutors to respect and understand the sometimes 'desperate' need of the young person from such an experience and how succeeding in their academic demands within Australia can be a life or death issue.
This role would be fantastic for a semi-retired individual, a working mother or an individual looking to subsidise their income.
THIS IS NOT A FULL TIME PERMANENT POSITION BUT RATHER A CONTRACTING ROLE WITH PEAKS AND FLOWS OF DEMAND.
