A very high achieving Secondary School located in Redbridge, North East London requires a fully qualified English teacher to start as soon as possible on a full time, permanent basis. The school has a friendly and well established English department and offers full support to its entire staff. They are looking to appoint a well qualified, organised and professional English teacher to start as soon as possible. This school achieves well above the national average in terms of Academic achievement with an 89% A*-C at GCSE in the 2007/08 academic year. The pupils at the school are fully committed to learning making this an enjoyable school to work in.
English Teacher Required for a High Achieving Secondary School!
This school requires a Qualified English Teacher that has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an overseas teaching qualification equivalent to that of UK QTS. This position is to commence ASAP on a full time permanent basis. ESL and TEFOL certificates alone do not meet the required qualifications for this post. The ideal candidate will be organised, professional and energetic and be confident teaching English Literature across all key stages up to and including GCSE level. An A level time table will be made available for the suitably experienced and qualified teacher, however teaching to an A level standard is not a requirement for applying to this post. Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT’s) as well as experienced teachers will be considered for this position.
