Teaching in Japan is amazing!

Spend a year teaching English as a second language in Japanese schools and private colleges. This is an exciting opportunity to live and work in a fascinating country. The type of teaching roles we have in Japan vary from "team-teaching" positions in pre-schools and primary schools to secondary English teaching roles; plus lecturering jobs in private colleges.

To meet Japanese visa requirements you must have a post-secondary degree typically a Bachelor. To meet the requirements of the employer this degree does not neccessarily have to be in teaching nor an English specific qualification. However, you must be a native English speaker with a sound knowledge of the English vocabulary. More senior positions with Japan may ask for a Certificate IV in Teaching English as a Second Language or equivilant.

The position is open to all native speakers from recent graduates to recent retirees and everyone in between. You must be in excellent health and able to meet all Japense Government visa requirements.

Remuneration includes: assisted housing, a comfortable Japanese salary and return airfares to Japan redeemable upon completion of the 12-month contract. Plus client sepcific bonuses for outstanding performers in the roles.

Experienced English teachers are encouraged to apply as we have a growing number of senior roles in Japan.
