ESLstaff.com has been created to put ESL teachers and schools in contact with each other. It grew out of our own experiences in the industry as teachers and school managers. We want to keep the site user friendly and welcome any advice or tips you have to offer. Just drop us a note via the contact page.
For Director of Studies
When we planned this service, we thought about the features that a Director of Studies needs when looking for teachers. Accordingly, our database of teachers CVs are arrayed so that Director of Studies can quickly see where teachers live, their qualifications and experience; as well as any specialist areas the teacher may have.
This lets a DOS see if a teacher is compatible with the school’s needs. If they are, you can then open up the CV for more information and contact details. Since time is of the essence when locating relief teachers, it is possible to contact teachers via email or even by phone. Teachers CVs are arrayed with the most recent post at the top of the list, thereby increasing the likelihood that a teacher is actively seeking work, and making the search for teachers easier. Do not just think of this site as a job site, it can also be used to arrange relief teachers as well.
For Teachers
We provide the opportunity to have your CV stored on our databse so that it can be read by dozens of school directors daily. You can also search the ads for employment opportunities. This is a very mobile industry and having been in the position of looking for teaching work ourselves, we wanted a format that is easy to use and gets results. We hope it helps you when you are looking for work. If it does, please recommend it to your friends and colleagues.
Price
We understand price is always important particularly since education budgets are notoriously tight! We plan to charge schools just enough to cover our costs but since we operate, only in the TESOL industry we can keep our overheads low, and advertising prices at a fraction of the generalist job sites. Teacher’s salaries being what they are, we will always keep the site free for teachers to use and our teacher focussed services also at a 'mates rate'!
